| Travel to Hawaii - exotic, lush, scenic, what words can describe these islands. Wonderland! I remember my first trip to Hawaii, we flew into Honolulu and then changed planes, or rather we went from a plane to a puddle jumper, so small you had to be weighed to get on it! We were flying over to the Big Island of Hawaii and flying into Kona, I was shocked by what I thought was a "moonscape" no lush foliage, no tropical vistas, everything appeared black. A rugged, vast volcanic landscape. Of course, when we proceeded to Mauna Kea, everything was lush and tropical, but I'll never forget that initial impression! I remember an afternoon of driving around reading all the names (in white rocks) that decorated the black volcanic rocks.

You should visit all the islands to get the full flavor of Hawaii. Try helicopter flights above the falls in Maui. Heart stopping excitement. We enjoy the Four Seasons Maui at any time of the year. Go from Maui with fanciful helicopter rides to the palm readers in Honolulu, the black sand beaches of the Big Island of Hawaii to the unbelievable golf at the world famous resorts.
We've been to Hawaii many times since that first trip and always find the weather perfect, the hula girls entrancing and the vacation wonderful!
