No matter if you're looking for a Cancun hotel and resort, an Acapulco hotel and resort, you'll find one here. Our favorite hotels have always been the Colonial type, but modern beach resorts or those with a native feeling are also so appealing. You can rest assured that when you stay in a first class hotel in Mexico, you'll be treated grandly. The
Ritz-Carlton Cancun - putting on the Ritz down Mexico way or in the Yucatan. Breathtakingly clear water in this area of the world. You can see for at least 100 feet under water! White sand beachs. As all Ritz hotels, this is elegant and serene, but you're close enough to downtown Cancun to indulge in all the excietment if you want that. Our idea of nuveo Spanish Colonial style. Search all

Guadalajara, Guadalajara - you know how the song goes, but do you know the delights of Guadalajara? Did you know that Guadalajara is home of Los Mariachis. There is a yearly Mariachi Festival, when musicians come from all over to play and compete! The Plaza Los Mariachis near the Mercado, is known for the mariachi bands that play day and night. A really fun place to go to a restaurant or a cafe that surrounds the plaza. A tip will get a special song just for you from Los Mariachis.
My most favorite shopping in the world at Talaquepaque. Not far and so much fun. Home of tequila or pulkè. (Pulkè is the FIRST liquid on the way to being tequila). The
Hotel Quinta Real is a perfect example of the elegance and luxury hotel that was Spain translated into Mexico. The days of Charlotte and Ferdinand are in evidence by the elegant furnishings, and impressive works of art. This small luxury hotel is one of our favorites.

San Miguel de Allende is a colonial city, founded in 1542. It offers a
wide variety of experience including many art galleries and festivals.
A favorite boutique hotel with just 33 rooms and suites is a gem of
Colonial architecture. Many consider
La Puertecita
Boutique Hotel one of Mexico's finest small hotels.
Rated among the top 100 hotels in the world by The Times of London, and recipient of the Triple A Four Diamond Award for eight years. A true Mexico luxury hotel, a mini-resort, set within a private park, world-class restaurant (recommended by Food and Wine magazine). La Puertecita offers classes in Spanish language, Art and Sculpture (specializing in watercolor and bronze sculpture), and authentic Mexican cooking.
You may never leave like many Americans who now claim San Miquel de Allende home. A really huge American retirement community. Try San Miguel for your next vacation - you may never leave.
